Small as a van, comfortable as a camper
The Fiat Ducato van’s City-Suite has only the engine and external measures; the bodywork is a fibreglass monocoque with all of the thermal and acoustic comfort guaranteed by Wingamm standards, rather than the van’s sheet metal. The entrance door is a solid hinged door constructed of insulated double-shell fibreglass, not the van’s enormous sliding door. The van’s two rear swing doors, which provide practical access to the enormous rear locker, were replaced with a fibreglass door with wingspan. The Fiat Dobl’s rear light unit is used.
Wingamm chose a shorter wheelbase than the van to improve handling and driving comfort (3,800mm instead of 4,000mm).
