Elddis Autoquest 150

Elddis Autoquest 150

The 150 is a fantastic British-made campervan from a well-known brand, with an open interior that provides plenty of room for everyone within its 7.33m length. It has a large front area with parallel settees and a table that can comfortably seat four people.

  • Price: £51,969
  • Berths: 4
  • MTPLM: 3500kg
  • MiRO: 2909kg
  • Shipping length: 7.33m

The 150 is a fantastic British-made campervan from a well-known brand, with an open interior that provides plenty of room for everyone within its 7.33m length. It has a large front area with parallel settees and a table that can comfortably seat four people.

This portion changes to a double bed and can be partitioned off at night, which is unique for a family van. Adults may now enter and exit through the habitation door (as well as to and from the awning), use the kitchen, and sleep on the island bed.

Yes, the 150 is the first Autoquest model to have an in-line island bed, demonstrating that such luxury can be found in what is effectively a budget RV. Even as an entry-level van, you get a separate oven and grill, as well as plenty of kitchen counter space.

McLouis Fusion 330

McLouis Fusion 330
  • Price: £55,995
  • Berths: 4
  • MTPLM: 3500kg
  • MiRO: 3058kg
  • Shipping length: 6.49m

The McLouis Fusion range’s first model with a rear lounge is the Continental-inspired McLouis Fusion. It does, however, have a little garage in the back and lots of spec.

The back lounge can accommodate six people, albeit it may be a tight fit. However, the choice to remove overhead lockers at the back of the van and replace them with a wide window mitigates this. When the table is folded back, there is plenty of space.

A spacious sink, a Thetford Duplex combination oven/grill, and a 142-litre fridge can be found in the kitchen. The two-burner gas hob, on the other hand, is side-on, which, although reducing space, isn’t always appropriate in a compact space.

The rear of the van’s drop-down bed is simple to set up, and the long single bed may be made up by removing the backrests. Over the front dinette is another drop-down single.

The washroom features a large mirror, as well as a large closet and two LEDs. A concertina screen can be used to divide a shower with two drainage holes.

Swift Edge 494 2020

Swift Edge 494 2020
  • Price £49,805
  • Layout Transverse rear island bed
  • Sleeps 4
  • Travel seats 4
  • MTLPM 3500kg
  • Length 7.32m

In the practical motorhome 2020 Motorhome of the Year awards, this four-berth was selected Best Budget Motorhome, impressing our team with its layout, unexpectedly big interior, and great gear.

The Edge is geared at first-time purchasers, and we believe the 494 fits the bill perfectly. The combination of a sumptuous floorplan – a wide transverse island bed runs across the back, and there’s plenty of room throughout the inside – and entry-level details are clever: you’ll find all you need here, but you won’t feel like you’ve overpaid for anything you won’t use.

This motorhome offers a lot of value for the money, with Truma Combi heating, a Dometic 8-series fridge, an oven and grill, cab air conditioning, Duvalay mattresses on the beds, pleated shades on the windows… The list goes on and on.

The soft interiors are tasteful, and there’s lots of storage capacity — the 494 also has a respectable 525kg payload. View the rest of the Swift motorhome range here!

Chausson 520 2020

  • Price £49,910
  • Layout Rear washroom
  • Sleeps 4
  • Travel seats 4
  • MTLPM 3500kg
  • Length 5.99m

Offering the popular Maxi Lounge layout in a motorhome under 6m is the product of clever design, and there’s no sacrifice on comfort, making it an intuitive pick for Best Compact Motorhome in the Motorhome of the Year awards.

Chausson’s Maxi Lounge design, which has two facing settees beneath a drop-down bed and a large bathroom and dressing area at the back, has been a hit.

The sensation of space inside is extraordinary, especially with the fixed bed tucked up and out of the way, and it continues even when you go to the washroom and open the enormous cupboards you’ll find here.

But this is the first time the concept has been presented in a length of fewer than six metres. You still get a feeling of spaciousness. You still go in and think this is a lovely lounge where you would like to spend a rainy afternoon. You’ll also have access to a luxury bathroom.

Pilote Pacific 696D Essentiel 2020

Pilote Pacific 696D Essentiel 2020
  • Price £56,075
  • Layout Rear washroom
  • Sleeps 2
  • Travel seats 4
  • MTLPM 3500kg
  • Length 6.99m

Although the 696D comes standard as a two-berth with a drop-down bed, it does come with two fold-out travel chairs, so you could carry more guests.

The engine is a 2.3-litre Euro 6D Temp turbodiesel with 120 horsepower, but the RV we tested had a 140-horsepower boost.

There is enough room at the table to sit six people for a supper. Even with the drop-down bed, the headroom is amazing. The bed doesn’t block much light; enough comes in via the voile curtains on the windows. The kitchen features a three-burner in-line stove with a huge sink next to it. Because this Pilote is being marketed in the United Kingdom, it comes with a GB Edition Pack, which adds an oven (£3,372 on this model). The drop-down bed is simple to lower, and we recommend the extra bed option because it is simple to set up and provides a little seating space even with it in place.

The garage has enough space for a couple of bikes and more, as well as holds to keep them secure.

That wraps up our list of the top motorhomes under £60,000, we hope that one of these caught your eye. If you are interested in purchasing one of the above motorhomes, or any motorhome for that matter, be sure to contact one of our team here at Igneous asset finance.
